All Explore Horizons Locations – Free to Attend
Need help shaking off that summer slide?
Let us help your family transition into the next academic year with a night of educational workshops topped off by interactive sessions and a parent informational seminar.
ACADEMIC Workshops for kids
Kung Fu Punctuation, ages 6-8
During this workshop, we will teach how to chop up sentences using a fun, kinesthetic approach. Our goals are to
- Show how to sound out where punctuation should fall in a sentence
- Teach the importance of working in teams
- Engage kinesthetic learners with movement and energy
Worded Math Problems, ages 10-12
Notoriously one of the most frustrating areas of math learning, we’re going to work on bringing quick reading comprehension into the realm of math. Learning how to decode math word problems can be tricky, but our tutors have some tricks up their sleeve to share!
Interactive Back to School Workshop for the Whole Family
This dynamic workshop will include the following activities:
- Presentation for parents: how to get the family back in the mentality of academics
- Lesson on how to create and implement behavior plans
- Practice using our curriculum to see how fun learning can be
- Challenge your kids with extension activities
What is the community saying about Explore Horizons?
Mr Rashid – Garland Dad
Explore Horizons are the best learning centers in the DFW metroplex by far. My son was not working at his grade level before he started. He was also struggling to pass a private school exam to get admitted. The managers and tutors from the Garland location are the best!! They helped him so much that he is now working at grade level. Not only that, but he passed the exam with the help of the Explore Horizons team! Thank you so much you guys!! I totally recommend it to everyone..what are you waiting for? Explore Horizons is the best!!! I’ve seen so much growth in my boys. The people here are amazing!!! Look no further if you want to give your children the educational advantage.
Minaz Cell – Colleyville mom
My son was not that good at reading, but with only a few classes at Explore Horizons, he was able to achieve “Commended” in his staar test.
We believe all families should have access to the resources they need for their child to succeed.
That’s why we offer our Community Open Days to give families free resources. Come see us on August 15th at a center near you:
